CARBONDALE – As part of its Family Education Series, Sopris Lodge at Carbondale Senior Living will host an informative talk about the role of a death doula in end-of-life care on Thursday, July 11 at 4 p.m. This free and open-to-the-public event will include a presentation by End of Life Doula Akaljeet Khalsa, “Die a Good Death,” and time for questions from attendees.
A member of the National End of Life Alliance, Khalsa provides both educational and practical services focused on death and dying, and helps families navigate the end-of-life process with dignity, honor and grace. A resident of Carbondale for 20+ years, she has a background in the healing arts, including massage, yoga, and mindfulness practices.
