Sopris Lodge at Carbondale Hosts Chris Klug Foundation for ‘You’re Never Too Old to Donate’ Talk on April 10

CARBONDALE Sopris Lodge at Carbondale will host a guest speaker from the Chris Klug Foundation for an informal, friendly, and frank discussion about organ, eye, and tissue donation on Monday, April 10 from 3-4 p.m. at 295 Rio Grande Ave.

This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required, and attendance will be limited to 25 registrants. Call 970-456-6871 or visit soprislodge.com/events to RSVP.

April is National Donate Life Month and the Chris Klug Foundation is an Aspen-based nonprofit that raises awareness about donation and strives to eliminate the wait for those on the transplant waitlist. This informative talk will dispel age-related (and other!) myths and misconceptions about who can donate and share stories about older adults in their 90s and beyond who have given the gift of donation.
